Kuranda & the Wet Tropics RainforestInland, the journey continues to the rainforest village of Kuranda, nestled within the World Heritage-listed Wet Tropics. This ancient rainforest is one of the oldest on Earth, home to unique plant species, diverse wildlife and dramatic landscapes shaped over millions of years.
Kuranda itself is a charming, laid-back village known for its artisan markets, boutique shops and relaxed atmosphere. Surrounded by dense rainforest and scenic mountain ranges, it provides the perfect setting to unwind, explore and connect with nature.
Travelling to and from Kuranda is an experience in itself, with the Scenic Railway and Skyrail Cableway offering two spectacular ways to experience the rainforest — one through it, and one above it.
This is a two-day experience, with each day operating independently while forming a cohesive package:
Day 1 – Reef Cruise

Day 2 – Kuranda Experience
- Departure: Morning pickup or self-guided start depending on booking
